Thank you for visiting - I'm excited to share my blog with you!
What started out in the summer of 2009 as a CaringBridge.org blog and a means to invite people to pray for my dear Chris, who went home to be with the Lord on October 12, 2009, has turned into an opportunity for me to share what God has been teaching me through many deep waters He has faithfully carried me and my family.
I’m grateful for the many friends who have been there for our family these past several years; God has strengthened my heart through their love and prayers, and it is my deep desire that others experiencing hardship or difficulty might be encouraged as I have been. God truly is good…all the time!
If you're interested in getting notification of when I post a new entry on my blog, please see the subscription box above.
For those of you who started out following me via my CaringBridge site, I've posted all the archived entries from that site to this site, so feel free to look around. You can leave comments on posts, and you can also easily share entries with friends or family.
Thank you for your friendship and prayers…God bless you!
I am a follower of Jesus Christ and I love to proclaim His greatness and goodness! I am also the widow of Christopher J. Klicka, former Senior Counsel of the Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) and a homeschooling mother of seven great kids, ages 24-14. Our lives together as a family have been full, and crazy and wonderful, and also hard and challenging beyond what we could ever imagine. I write, speak, and blog because I know the power of the gospel, and I love to encourage believers that no matter what happens, God is good...all the time.
I'm also serving as the Director of Development for the Home School Foundation (www.homeschoolfoundation.org), the charitable arm of the Home School Legal Defense Association, which helps families homeschool through hard times.
